Rudolf Krehl first to thoroughly articulate concept of pathological physiology in Grundriss der allgemeinen klinischen Pathologie. Krehl taught or influenced American physicians and clinical scientists who transferred the concept to U.S. at turn of century (Fye II , 15-16).
