Abraham Myerson’s transformation from Free-Lancer to Friendly Expert for SK&F re his investigations of Benzedrine Sulfate (Rasmussen II, 65-66, 73-76). He began independently investigating effect of Benzedrine on blood pressure and digestion, and then investigated its CNS action, discovering elevated mood in normal and mildly depressive patients. Late in 1935, he approached SF&F for further supplies of the drug, and was immediately offered a grant (73).
