Mississippi Health Project, sponsored by Alpha Kappa Alpha sorority and headed by Dr. Dorothy Ferebee of Howard and Tufts, visits homes and plantations, emphasizing, especially, immunization of children against diphtheria and smallpox (Ward, 240-48).
