Publication of Maude Abbott’s Atlas of Congenital Cardiac Disease, of which Abbott was world’s acknowledged expert. She was enormously helpful to Hellen Taussig, then a young pediatrician interested in congenital heart disease, who came to visit her at McGill before Abbott’s death in 1940 (Morris, loc 779).
