On 11 December Pfizer-BioNTech COVID-19 vaccine (Comirnaty) becomes available under FDA’s Emergency Use Authorization (EUA) to individuals 16 years of age and older, with authorization extended to 12–15-year-olds on 10 May 2021. On December 18, the Moderna COVID‑19 vaccine (Spikevax®) was likewise authorized by the FDA under an EUA for individuals 18 years and older.
